EVANGELISM RESPONSE CENTER (ERC)

How would you like to be on call as a Telephone &/or Internet Encourager for the Evangelism Response Center (ERC) of the North American Mission Board (NAMB)?

Imagine being trained to share the Gospel & actually doing it in your own home, any time day or night all year! The training only takes about 2-3 hours. It’s no cost to you.

If you are a member of a Southern Baptist Church, you receive a notebook & special code for the ERC. When calls come to the ERC in Alpharetta, GA & you are logged on, they are forwarded to your phone & you speak with people looking for spiritual help as the computer contacts each available responder.

We would like to have 10,000 people trained in the USA as ERC responders this coming year. We handle one third of the Billy Graham Crusade calls plus all the SBC media events across the nation.

Even before you become a responder you can help spread THE GOOD NEWS about salvation & forgiveness in Christ by simply telling people to call 1-888-JESUS2008 or going to www.thegoodnews.org .

Put this on your church sign, business cards, under your signature, wherever you can think. As people call in, someone shares the Good news about Christ. The ERC then sends the follow up information to SBC churches in the area of the caller who have made a covenant with the ERC to follow up all people given to them within three days.
