GPS - Across Penn-Jersey Ramping Up

Across Penn-Jersey is part of GPS- God's Plan for Sharing, a partnership between the North American Mission Board and the Baptist Convention of Pennylvania/South Jersey aimed at reaching every person in our area with the gospel by 2020. The theme for the local church-based outreach initiative can be seen at www.findithere.com and downloadable resource materials can be accessed at www.gps2020.net.

GPS ACROSS Penn-Jersey Campaign

All across the Baptist Convention of PA/SJ churches are joining together in support of the new GPS – God’s Plan for Sharing initiative called "ACROSS Penn-Jersey". There are four components of ACROSS Penn-Jersey:

Component 1: Prayer-Walking neighborhoods, businesses and communities – Date: March 20th.  

Component 2: Gospel Distribution (Door-to-Door) to take place on March 28th. 

Component 3: Invitation to evangelistic Easter Resurrection Services on April 4th with a clear gospel presentation.

Component 4: Follow up on all church guests to your church from Easter (April 4) to Mother’s Day (May 9)

seeking to engage them in your Sunday School or Bible study groups. The purpose is for every church to establish a connection and follow-up process for discipleship.

Here's What to Do ...

Here’s a summary of what you are asked to do to participate:

Return the enclosed Response Card indicating how many door hanging bags and “Find it Here” Gospel Brochures you want for your church. You can order as much as you desire but I am encouraging a minimum for each church of 1000 pieces. The materials are available in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean. Materials in Ukrainian will be available soon.

There is a small cost for your church to participate. Each church is asked to give $100 toward the materials for the campaign. Make you check out to Baptist Convention of PA/SJ and put on the memo line - "GPS".

Your church will receive much more value than this cost covers. Your church will receive the following:

1.  
   1. A minimum of 1000 door hanging bags and “Find it Here” Gospel Brochures.
   2. A 3ft by 8ft “Find it Here” Outdoor Banner.
   3. A quantity of 10 “Find it Here” yard signs for distribution to church members.

This is only the beginning of God’s Plan for Sharing (GPS) for our area. Our desire is to see every home in Pennsylvania and South New Jersey reached with the Gospel by 2020. Go to www.GPS2020.net to learn more.

Copy the Response Post Card below and Return by Feburary 15^th – our goal is every church participating in the ACROSS Penn-Jersey, God’s Plan for Sharing Initiative. We've never worked together before with such an opportunity - so join me in praying for God's tremendous blessings and pray about your church participating.
