Credit Transfer

A number of colleges have accepted Seminary Extension Level Two courses toward baccalaureate degrees.  Any student desiring to take Seminary Extension courses in order to transfer them to another school should contact the receiving institution of choice before enrolling with Seminary Extension.  Students must take a monitored final examination provided by Seminary Extension in order for a class to qualify for transfer credit.  The receiving institution evaluates the transcript and determines acceptance of transfer credits.

The American Council on Education (ACE) has evaluated and recommended college credit for 34 of Seminary Extension's courses.  Based on course quality, which is consistent throughout all Seminary Extension's course work, colleges, universities, and seminaries may also grant credit for courses that are not evaluated or recommended by ACE.  The Baptist Convention of PA/SJ has entered into a partnership with Luther Rice University to accept the ACE courses for transfer credit.
