SURF'S UP!
Grab your surfboard and head for the waves! During VBS 2008, kids will KNOW, SPEAK, and LIVE God's truth - aloha style. Based on Psalm 86:11, Outrigger Island is more than a tropical paradise. It's the place where kids will develop the stability they need to face a world of shifting sands and wavering opinions.

 Join us at any of the trainings to learn about these two options for VBS. We'll sing, learn Bible stories, play some games, have door prizes, and have lots of fun! Come early for registration and take a look at decorations in the classrooms. Lunch will follow morning clinics. Go home ready and eager for your VBS adventures.

There will be age-graded training for Preschoolers, Children, Preteen, Youth, Adult, Pastors, and Directors. That's right - a class for pastors! And a music class for your worship leader.

Crafts will be taught to craft leaders - please limit it to 2 from each church. There will be a $5 charge per person for crafts. They will take home a craft for everyday and many ideas.

Enrichment classes will include: Personal Preparation, Putting Youth to Work in VBS, Reaching the Home through VBS, Sharing Christ with Children, Adapting VBS for the Small Church, and Club VBS (Cactus Canyon).

Attend any of the classes that are convenient for you! Saturday morning workshops begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration, donuts, and decorations, then the worship session begins at 9:30 and ends with lunch at 12:30. Friday evening sessions begin with registration, light supper and decorations at 6:00 p.m. then worship at 6:30 and ends at 9:00. Lasso a way-out-west Vacation Bible School Adventure.
