The logo for our convention sums up who we are and what we are about. The first element is the concept of the three cords, inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." This interwoveness is meant to illustrate our partnership in the Gospel, that we can accomplish more together than we can apart. The three cords are in three colors, showing our diversity. They are also woven rather loosely, indicating our partnership is voluntary, not coerced associaition. The second element is the globe. The cross of Christ covers the globe, reflecting the Lordship of Christ over all creation, and the reality of the Kingdom of God. The three cords are wrapped around the globe, demonstrating that our purpose in partnership is ultimately connected to the great global purpose of Christ.   The third element is that of movement. The entire logo reflects dynamic activity. We are not passive participants in the activity of God. This movement is in two directions. The cords flow toward the globe, seeking out the world and embracing it fully, indicationg a mission focus. The cords also flow out from the cross of Christ, indicating that we are rooted in Him and our strength flows from our connectedness with Christ. In addition, the entire logo has a free flowing, joyous feel, reflecting our creativity and freedom in Christ.  Our logo shows our joyous, creative partnership of churches, dirverse yet united in purpose, connected to God's great global purpose of reconciliation. We hope that this has communicated to you who we are and what we are all about.
